Dick was a little boy. and all he had was a cat. and he got told that he had to have a fortune with his cat so then he had to go to the King and Queens pails with his cat and his cat killed all of the mice and rats. and then he got a big chest with gems and money. and he shared it with everyone. and he lived happily ever after. the main point about this story was that Dick made his fortune. and that he got some gold. and that he lived happily ever after.

Hi Josh. This is a great summary of the key points. I wonder if we could read it together and discuss some of the decisions Dick made along his journey and how he kept working hard even when things were tough. Could this be a main point to the story as well, do you think?
